My major area of expertise is the characterization and diagnosis of Learning Disabilities, especially Reading Disability in children and adults. I have studied, researched and practised in this area for decades. A thorough understanding of LD is essential for proper diagnosis and programming  - it is a major area of practice for many psychologists and yet it is often misunderstood. 

Of coure, I am experienced and able to identify and make recommendations for a great variety of cognitive and mental health difficulties, including ADHD. Assessment may require accompanying counselling to help a client to understand and deal with problems that are uncovered.

As a part of assessment and diagnostic activities, it is a requirement that a competent psychologist be adept at the use of many psychometric tests - I have not only used these tests, but I have taught their use.

I have experience working in many settings, urban and rural, and have worked with Inuit and Cree clients.
