

Anxiety, sadness, anger and grief are normal, but sometimes we experience more emotion than we can deal with ourselves. We get stuck in our relationships, or our work or parenting or one of a multitude of problems is making life unbearable. You can get through this with some professional help and make life worth living again.
My approach to counselling is "solution focussed and meaning centred". Together we chart a path forward, working on your immediate problems without taking our eyes off the big picture of your life.
Psychodiagnostic assessment is also an important part of practice for me. Again, my approach is solution focussed and meaning centred. An assessment is done as part of solving a problem and the results must then be put into the proper perspective of a client's life.
